POSITION SUMMARY Lighting design studio is seeking a metal finisher to work on a short-term project for 2-3 weeks. You will be responsible for surface preparation of metal components. We are looking for an experienced individual who wants to be a positive and contributing member to a creative, professional, and team-oriented studio culture. The job is metal finishing, surface preparation, deburring and applying a directional graining to each surface of the aluminum components. Candidate must be organized with their time and physical space, work efficiently, accurately, with consistency and care. The position is hourly. Work hours are from Mondays-Fridays, from 9am-6pm. The current project is approximately 2-3 weeks of work. Start date immediately. We are located in Red Hook.
