Kuehn Motor Co is looking for a full-time experienced Mechanic / Automotive Technician in Rochester, MN. We operate a full-service shop that handles customer work as well as inspection and repair of used vehicles for inventory. We are looking to grow our service department and need a great mechanic and automotive technician to join our team. Pay ranges from $22 - $32 per hour based on experience and is negotiable. *Mechanic / Automotive Technician Benefits offered:* We offer full benefits package with vacation pay as well as a profit sharing program. We are a family-owned business and value our employees - Health insurance - Paid time off - Dental insurance - 401(k) *Mechanic / Automotive Technician Requirements * - High School Diploma or equivalent - 2 years’ automotive technician experience minimum - Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record - Team oriented, flexible, focused on maintaining a high level of customer service *Mechanic / Automotive Technician **Responsibilities* - Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair - Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards - Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts - Examine the vehicle to determine if any additional safety or service work is needed - Advise service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised. - Document work performed and recommended on the repair order. Upon completion of work return repair order to Service Advisor.
