Dig This Las Vegas (est 2007) is the World’s first ever heavy equipment playground that allows folks from all different backgrounds to enjoy the thrill of operating small to huge heavy equipment in our 5-acre sandbox. We are all about having fun and providing exceptional experiences that help people forget their lives for a brief moment and regain their sense of confidence, accomplishment and adventure. Dig This has an opening for an Assistant Site Manager that will eventually roll into the lead Site Manager. APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma or equivalent required - At least 3 years of management experience - Have basic heavy equipment operating skills - Must be able to work in a fast –paced, team-oriented setting - Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills - Computer literacy and proficient in MS Office products (Word and Excel) - Valid Driver’s License with good driving record JOB REQUIREMENTS: SUPERVISE INSTRUCTORS - Schedule instructors work schedule for the week - Train new instructors and current instructors where you see there are any voids that need attention. - Remediate all issues as they come up. SITE MANAGEMENT - Maintain and update all site permits, etc. - Main point of contact for outside vendors and municipal groups - Maintain and aim to improve the look and feel of the site. - Keep equipment cleaned and kept up. - Safety- make sure all safety procedures are in place on site and on the equipment. - Ensure all aspects of dust mitigation are in place. - Keep site clean and tidy. Keep spectators area tidy and comfortable. EQUIPMENT - Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and daily checks are made. - Schedule any required maintenance and service. - Up-date any record keeping that is required for maintenance or damage. - Keep radios well maintained and cleaned for instructors and clients. SAFETY - Be knowledgeable of the ASTM/OSHA Standards and reporting. - Keep all safety policies in check. Report all concerns to CEO - Make sure any new instructors have had the proper training in first aid, dust mitigation and are aware of all policies to do with ASTM/OSHA standards and reporting. OTHER - Regularly utilize email and calendar effectively - Assist with training Academy in scheduling equipment and maintenance. - Other duties as assigned - Facilitate and instruct clients on equipment PAY & BENEFITS - This is a full-time position with a starting salary between $40-50K (based on experience) - Added income will come in the form of gratuity from guests (est $10-20K) - Insurance benefits are available after 3 months of employment. - Hands on training will be provided on equipment and classes via NCCER will be provided as needed. - Please note Dig This Las Vegas requires all new staff to be Covid vaccinated.
