Description
I really need some good w00d. It has been far too long. 34bi female open to any age or race but must come to you. Hello, I'm missing performing & want to get back into it. I've got a versatile, confident, powerful voice & a magnetic stage presence. I can belt like Janis or Susan Tedeschi but can also be a sweet soprano like Joni. I have sang & performed for much of my life, & love positive music. I’ve been the lead singer in 2 blues bands before & am looking to start again, even if just for tips & food, to do it for the love of music & sharing myself in that way. I see me singing cover songs & maybe playing a lil’ simple guitar too, & having a kick-ass, responsible, & fun band beside me to play mellow Bay Area venues.Looking for 1 guitar player to be in a country acoustic band, preferably someone that can sing harmonies. Current guitar player is moving out of the area. We play a variety of genres that include tunes from Petty, Zach Brown, Pearl Jam, Post Malone, Luke Combs, Eric Church, etc. Must be mature, professional, and have a good energy when performing live. Rehearsals are paid at $50/hr and are usually 2 hours each week on Friday afternoons. All gigs are paid at the same rate + a share of tips. Working cover band seeking guitar player who can sing (or singer who can play some guitar). We're a trio and looking to fill out the sound. We play classic rock from the 60s thru 90s. Have shows booked out this year so you need to prepared to learn the tunes quickly. Call or text for more info about the band and songs. Hope to hear from ya! Dream Theater, Devin Townsend, Steven Wilson, Megadeth, The Aristocrats, Tool, King Crimson, Haken, Black Sabbath etc. Blues & Rock are my favorite genres to sing, & I love reggae, soul, & folk too. I've got a list of covers I'd love to play with a band by artists like Janis, Susan T, Otis Redding, Koko Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Tracy Chapman, Allman Bros, the Dead, Van Morrison... I'm 42, live in Capitola, play some guitar too & am willing to meet with bands outside of the SC area.Had a great session this past saturday. Exhilarating! We(drummer, guitars)all agreed we really missed a bass player. Next session, end of 2nd week of february. Experienced players.Looking at doing an Acoustic Duet or Trio. Thinking taking Classic Rock songs and playing them on Acoustic Guitars and possibly a Bass or percussion. Upright would be cool but not required. This seems to be an emerging market. Any interest? You have chops, experience but no are done with the fulltime band thing? Come jam. Anyone with some skills is welcome. No obligation. Although, We are trying to put together a unit to get together approx every other week. rock and roll stuff. Originals and mostly non standard covers. Help with vocals would great. Will get you a song list. Text is best. Thanks.
