A violent ciminal element raided the US Capitol on January 6th, 2021. They destroyed and damaged OUR House. It is the sacred citadel where we celebrate democracy and form the better union our forefathers dreamed of. For the rest of the world, the Capitol is the great chapel of human freedom, and for many it stands as the last bastion of hope for so many all over the world. On Saturday Donald Trump said this, and I quote: "Another thing we'll do, and so many people have been asking me about it, if I run and if I win, we will treat those people from Jan. 6 fairly," Trump said to applause. "We will treat them fairly. And if it requires pardons we will give them pardons. Because they are being treated so unfairly." The Republican Party once was known as a great beacon of law and order. On Saturday night that ended. Aren't Trump's Republicans wonderful?
