Join us for a night of comedy and Karaoke featuring Chicago’s own Mo Abbed & headlined by Madison funny man Charlie Kojis! Charlie Kojis has been performing stand-up comedy since 2014, during which time he has been described as “this generation’s Charlie Kojis.” Combining his life experiences and general fears, Charlie blends traditional joke telling with his own personal narrative. His dry delivery leaves audiences both laughing and wondering if he is as okay as he pretends to be. Based in Madison WI, Charlie performs throughout the Midwest and has performed in the Flyover, Beast Village, Cream City, and Floodwater Comedy Festivals, among others. He has opened for comedians who include Tig Notaro, Gary Gulman, and Michael Che and was the winner of Madison's Funniest Comic Competition at Comedy on State in 2016. Mo Abbed, Chicago-based comic that has performed all over the city including The Lincoln Lodge and The Comedy Bar. As well as in Austin, TX and selected and performed on The Kill Tony Podcast. He produces and hosts a Chicago Reader’s nominated weekly show at The Lincoln Lodge called “Campfire Stories.” He has been selected for the upcoming comedy festival, “World Comedy Expo,” to perform and host a show at Second City.
