The University of Colorado Program Council is proud to announce our first event of the semester, An Evening of Standup with Noel Miller An Evening of Standup with Noel Miller will take place in the Glenn Miller Ballroom inside the University Memorial Center on the University of Colorado Boulder campus on Thursday, March 10, 2022. Doors will open at 6:30 pm, and the show will start at 7:00 pm with an opening set from Prance. Tickets will be priced at $15.00 for CU Boulder students. Only CU Boulder students may purchase tickets. Please utilize your @colorado.edu email address when making your purchase. Noel Miller's biting one-liners and topical social commentary has made him a force to be reckoned with in the comedy world. Between directing, touring, podcasting, music and streaming, Noel's rise has been nothing short of meteoric. In addition to starring in popular YouTube series That's Cringe, and comedy duo + podcast Tiny Meat Gang with fellow comedian Cody Ko, Noel has created successful series' on his own including his format around hit British Reality show Love Island. His broad reach has landed him deals with companies such as SeatGeek and Old Spice, as well as solo comedy gigs across the country. Noel has also found success as a filmmaker, being the creative mind behind Tiny Meat Gang's hit music videos including Walk Man, which has garnered over 19 million views, and their recent releases, Broke Bitch, Daddy and Sofia, which have collectively gathered 20M+ views. Outside of music, Noel recently released his first short film, Suki, a dark comedy about a relationship between a detective and a serial killer. Additionally, Noel has recently leaned into streaming, resulting in a rapidly growing Twitch following. He can be found racing on his driving simulator against pro Formula 1 drivers, or playing games such as Call of Duty: Warzone. Boulder County’s current public health orders will require all attendees to wear masks. Additional venue rules include: no backpacks or bags larger than 18" x 12" x 4", no skateboards, no weapons (including concealed carry), no professional photography or audio/video recording, no smoking/vaping inside the venue, no alcohol or other drugs. Empty, non-glass water bottles will be allowed. Program Council is a student-run organization at the University of Colorado Boulder dedicated to bringing quality, affordable entertainment to campus. The group hosts a wide variety of concerts with big name acts in venues such as the Farrand Field, Balch Fieldhouse and Club 156. Program Council also hosts consistent film screenings in CHEM 140 that are free to students and the general public.
