(A continuación para la versión en español) Several hundred Eastern Redbuds (Cercis canadensis) and Flowering Dogwood (Cornus florida) are looking for new homes to add a little beauty and so much more to your yard. Would you like two free seedlings for your yard? We're hosting a drive-thru event to pick up 2 seedlings - one Redbud and one Dogwood per ticket holder. Sign up here and remember to bring your ticket either on your phone or as a printout. Seedlings are limited to the first 200 people that sign up. Details about the March 5th morning pick-up at Tackett's Mill will be emailed to all ticket holders. Both the Eastern Redbud and the Flowering Dogwood are important native understory trees that are pretty to look at and great for wildlife. Both are small in stature - typically reaching 30 ft - and the flowers, fruits, and leaves of these trees provide year-round interest for you and good habitat and nutrition for our animal friends. This is a drive-thru pickup event. As you drive up, please remain in your vehicle, and we will hand you your seedlings. NOTE: We will be taking safety precautions, including wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. Cientos de arboles (Eastern Redbuds (Cercis canadensis) y Flowering Dogwood (Cornus florida)) están buscando un nuevo hogar y están listos para alegrar y embellecer tu jardín. ¿Te gustaría obtener estos dos plantitas de semillero gratis para tu jardín? Nosotros estaremos organizando un evento “drive-thru” para regalarte estas dos plantas de semillero. Recibirás un Redbud y un Dogwood por cada boleto. Únicamente registrarte aquí con tu correo electrónico para recibir tu boleto. Y no te olvides traer tu boleto imprimido o ya sea en tu teléfono. ¡Apresúrate y se una de las primeras 200 personas en inscribirte! Recuerda, los arboles/las plantas de semillero están limitados para las primeras 200 personas. Ambos son arboles nativos del sotobosque y florecen embelleciendo tu alrededor ademas son excelentes para la vida silvestre. Ambos son pequeños de estatura, no crecen muy grande. Por lo general, solo alcanzan los 30 pies. Durante todo el año las flores, frutas y hojas de estos arboles te brindarán interés, proveerán nutrientes y un habito para nuestros amiguitos los animales.
