Join us on February 26th, 2022 from 6p-10p for an interactive live event where locals pitch their single friend to the crowd with a short Powerpoint deck (don’t worry, we’ll provide a template!). You will have the opportunity to create a 3-minute pitch to tell us about your friend, what they’re all about, and land them a great date. Event Details: Hosted by Adam and Abby @ WorkBistroWe’ll start with a casual happy hour- please meet and mingleSay hi to at least 1 new personWe’ll start the event with some ground rules about the event, thenWe’ll have the event! Everyone who wants will get an opportunity to pitch their friendPitches will be 3 minutes will a 2 minute Q&A for the individual getting pitchedAfter all the pitches, there will be some more time to meet and greetYour admission comes with one free drink with additional drinks available for purchase at the venue.Background: Is your friend still single and you have no idea why? Are they flirty and fun, but have a strong Hufflepuff vibe and need to be brought out of their shells? Do they kick ass on the court, make incredible art, or are a tech genius, but aren’t getting the dates they deserve? There’s a lot of reasons that someone should go out on a date with your friend- and who better to tell us why than you? Join us on February 26th, 2022 for this interactive and unique event, where you pitch your friend and their best qualities to dozens of potential suitors. While Adam and Abby have been out of the dating scene for a while, we have many single friends who tell us of the struggle of meeting someone on the apps. We love love and we want to help other people find theirs! The best relationships come from mutual connections because, let’s face it, our friends know best- they know who is right for us. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Why & Who will benefit from this event? All the single ladies (and men). You bring your friends and I’ll bring mine- that’s what this event is all about. Let’s match up the best people we know and get them off of the apps! How many people show up? Our events usually see anywhere from 15 to 50 people. We make sure people are open and approachable, regardless of how many people show up. You will be able to meet and talk to anyone; our greeters will be there to make introductions and keep things moving. What to Bring: If you are planning on pitching a friend for the event, you will be prompted to submit a brief slide deck (don’t worry, we’ll give you a template). If you’re not pitching, show up and everyone please bring a great attitude! How to Dress: Dress like you want to be seen for who you truly are! Photography & Video: By attending our event, you give us permission to photograph, videotape, and otherwise record the event and use the resulting footage for promotional purposes. All participants at our events are beautiful people and are subject to be photographed and used to promote future events
