Description
Light maintenance, inspections, deliveries, problem solving, prioritizing and resolving issues in vacation homes.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Basic, light maintenance items - Changing light bulbs and batteries, lighting pilot lights, refilling and replacing propane, re-hanging towel bars, troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues such as: TV, internet and basic appliance issues, thermostat settings.
• This job requires an eye for detail - Inspecting the home to make sure that the entire property is “guest ready” for each guest arrival
• Evaluating situations - Diagnosing problems and knowing when specialist/contractor assistance should be requested.
• Customer service - Assisting guests onsite with maintenance items or concerns in a calm and confident manner
• Annual projects - Preparing the homes for spring and winter. Changing furnace filters, putting away and pulling out and setting up patio furniture
• One-time projects - Assembling items purchased for homes such as boxed furniture, installing new access points in a group of homes, other projects as needed.
• Running errands and deliveries - Taking supplies to homes for housekeeping or guests.
• Listening - Understanding what guests want and finding solutions to make the guest experience fabulous.
NOTE: This position does not require mechanical, electrical, plumbing or appliance repair experience.
Pay: $18-$25/hour depending on experience
Job Type: Part-time or Full-Time including weekend and evening hours
