** READ AND UNDERSTAND THE ENTIRE JOB DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU APPLY ** AAA Crains Auto Salvage LLC is currently hiring a Computer Gig with a passion for computers and security cameras. JOB DESCRIPTION: This position DOES NOT require you to have a degree on IT. This position requires that you know computers and how to troubleshoot them. Also that you have some basic knowledge of IT and networks like CAT 6 cables and IPs. You will be require to install new security cameras and troubleshoot our more than 120 company security cameras. You’ll be also require to do basic troubleshoot to computer and printers of our offices. You’ll be working alone under no directions and minimum supervision. You’ll also be given an office as well. MAIN DUTIES: - Support, maintain and do basic troubleshoot to our more than 40 Desktop and laptop computers, printers and IPads. - Support the company employees by helping them with printer problems and other issues. - Install new security cameras with two way audio. - Maintain, move or replace our company security cameras - Run Cat6 cable thru walls and sometimes attics to update our network, replace old cabling or install new devices. - Assist and support with basic general gadgets, internet switches, and desktop phones. REQUIREMENTS: - 16 years of age or older. - No degree is required. We just require you to have computer knowledge and basic network/IP knowledge. Experience is a big plus!. - Be able to work under minimum supervision. You’ll be given a weekly projects and task list that you’ll complete under almost no supervision. - Common sense and fast learning skills. We can train and teach you on the go on the installation and configuration of security cameras. - Cannot be afraid of heights. Sometimes you’ll be using a boom lift to reach cameras that are up to 30 ft. high. - Be ok with getting inside attics just when required to run CAT6 Cables. - Be able to work alone and have problem solving skills to complete the weekly projects list. SCHEDULE: Part time and/or Full Time available Part Time schedules: - Monday Thru Friday Only: - Morning: 8 am to 2 pm - Evenings: 2 pm to 8 pm Full Time: - Monday Thru Fridays: 8 am to 5 pm (1 Hr Lunch) COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: - Starts at $17.5 Hr Vacations: - 1 Week of Paid Vacations every year after 1 year of employment. - 2 Weeks of Paid Vacations every year after 3 Years of employment - 3 Weeks of Paid Vacations every year after 5 Years of employment - 4 Weeks of Paid Vacations every year after 7 Years of employment Holidays: - 6 Paid holidays every year.
