Police Break Up Fight At South Shore Plaza Mall

BRAINTREE, MA — Police are reportedly on scene to break up a fight involving five to seven people at the South Shore Plaza Mall in Braintree. No shots were reported, but some stores were under lockdown orders. The mall was the site of a fight last month that ended with a shooting that left a 15-year-old girl injured. Jose Rodriguez, 21, of Boston, was charged with several firearms charges. The girl was a bystander. Last month's fight forced police to call a shelter-in-place order for the surrounding neighborhood.
