To help the male youth by providing positive leadership and guidance! Working with in NC Juvenile Justice I’ve witnessed our (ALL RACES) youth males fail due to not having that leadership and guidance that’s needed. Without that leadership and positive guidance our young males turn to the streets and negative leadership. My goal is to STOP the youth now before they end up in the Juvenile Justice system. Brother’s Keeper is a chance for parents and their sons to come out and listen to former juveniles and their parents speak out, employees from a Juvenile Detention Center and Youth Development Center, guys from the community speaking on their experiences growing up. It’s going to take the community to help me pull this off and keep it going. I want a place where the youth can come and speak freely and where others can speak the truth and keep it real.
