Students of Promise Gala is an annual scholarship event hosted by Foundation for Clovis Schools. The annual Students of Promise program, as part of the Foundation for Clovis Schools, recognizes high school juniors who are attending school on a regular basis, showing responsibility and succeeding in school in spite of exceptionally challenging situations in their personal lives. On every campus, there are students who face extreme obstacles that could easily affect their performance at school, but somehow don't let challenges get in their way. These students are heroes in everyday life and don't expect to be rewarded for persevering through difficult times. Each student selected for recognition in the program is eligible to receive a $2,000 scholarship for use in post-secondary education. Please join us as we encourage, reward, honor and celebrate these Students of Promise.   6 p.m. Registration 6:30 p.m. Dinner & Program Promo code available to student recipient guests only. Created in 1986 by founding Superintendent Dr. Floyd B. "Doc" Buchanan, the Foundation for Clovis Schools raises money for grants and scholarships to benefit students and teachers in Clovis Unified School District.  To date more than $5 million have been distributed throughout Clovis Unified.
