Evidence Based Self-Defense Course Come learn the most effective form of self defense and threat management with professional defesnive tactics educators. Understand the science of violence and how to prevent, identify and defend against dangerous offenders. Is this a martial arts class? No, while some elements of what you would find in martial art 🥋 classes is utilized, punching and kicking, that is where our similarities end. Martial Art classes are great for sport, recreation, tradition, and fun; however they are not the most effective in terms of surviving a violent encounter. Striking is a small, but useful, element in being able to protect oneself and loved one's, however avoidance is the ultimate goal. Will there be any physical elements in this course? Yes, there is a physical element to this course. It will be taught in the fashion for someone with little to no knowledge on combative striking and/or self defense. This course is to serve as bridge for future courses. What are the physical elements taught in this class? Our instructor's have a well rounded background in multiple disciplines of combatives including Krav Maga, Hisardut, Haganah,JuJitsu and Catch Wrestling. Our educational body has over 70-years collective service in the military, Federal Law Enforcement, US Threat and Countermeasures National Nuclear Administration, Israeli Trained Krav Maga and Behavioral Analysis. Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear which you can move freely in and bring bottled water.
