The Florida Citrus Production School is a program which provides growers with information on citrus production practices.

Session 1 - February 10, 2021: Weed Management and Increasing the Effectiveness of Residual Herbicides
Time: 7pm-9pm
Location: UF/IFAS DeSoto County Extension Office, 2150 NE Roan St., Arcadia FL, 34266
Dr. Ramdas Kannisery is an Assistant Professor of Weed Science at the UF/IFAS Southwest Florida Research and Education Center in Immokalee. He will be discussing application precautions for weed management and increasing the effectiveness of residual herbicides.
Ajia Paolillo is a UF/IFAS Extension, Multi-County Citrus Agent. She will be discussing weed identification, life cycle stages, and the use of non-chemical management practices.
Continuing Education Units Provided - There will be a maximum of 2 CEUs provided with this session for restricted use pesticide license holders in the following categories: Ag Tree, Ag Row, Private, Right of Way, and Natural Areas.
Certified Crop Advisor CEUs have been requested.
