A short film about domestic abuse, adultery, friendships, loss and a twisted tragedy. Dre and Skye seemed to be the perfect couple when they were dating. They married, went on their honeymoon, and there she discovered he had another side to him. He begins to verbally and physically abuse her while making her feel worthless, fearful and insecure. Skye has drifted away from her family and closest girlfriends, but managed to finally meet with them after several years. On the other hand, her husband Dre has no friends, only acquaintances from men from the neighborhood barbershop. During this roller coaster marriage, she grieves the loss of their child. She often contemplates suicide and experiences sleepless nights of visions of her abuse. Skye seeks counseling from her therapist, (Dr. Benson) in hopes of regaining strength and forging ahead in her life. She fears never finding love again if she leaves Dre. Skye reads her scriptures and understands that her anger is a natural and necessary emotion. Although, she understands its not a sin to be angry, but its what she does with her anger that counts. Till death do us part.
