Press release from the Metropolitan Police Department: January 29, 2022 (Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District seek the public's assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in reference to an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Thursday, January 27, 2022, in the 5000 block of Meade Street, Northeast. At approximately 8:44 am, the suspect entered a residence under construction and approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect then assaulted the victim and brandished a handgun. The suspect demanded the victim's property. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene.
