Job description Scheduling and care coverage –manages scheduling process and uses all technology tools and resources to ensure proper business processes; schedules staff to meet client care needs and minimize non-billed overtime; ensures assigned staff are properly trained and available as needed.Manages the intake of new clients and informs potential clients of our servicesCustomer/client care – serves as point of contact for client/customer relations.Support recruiting activities to efficiently and effectively fill open positions; build networks to find qualified passive candidates.Conducts interviews for candidate field employees; coordinates orientation for new employees.Assist in new employee orientation and on-boarding new hires.Communicate with employees and field staff regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.Shares on-call duty (handling phones and supporting clients/staff after hours)Assists in achieving agency goals and agency performance improvement activitiesAssists the Clinical Manager and Executive Director with activities and assessing the competency of staff to promote quality, continuity, and safety of a client’s careSupervises, educates, and coaches field personnel, as directed by the Clinical Manager/Executive Director.Provide information to be used for statistics, reports and records for purposes of evaluation and reportingAssures proper maintenance records in compliance with local, state, and federal lawsAssures compliance with all local, state and federal laws Requirements Scheduling and recruiting experience within the Home Care field preferred; must be comfortable handling complex home care office demandsGood computer skills (Scheduling software, Internet, Word, and Excel preferred)High School Diploma required. College degree preferred.Flexibility and good time management skills requiredMinimum of 2 years’ experience as a scheduler and/or recruiter within a healthcare office setting; knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare office regulations.Excellent organization, planning, and project management skills.
