BEVERLY, MA — Beverly Public Schools plans to extend free meals programs for all students through the end of the school year.
With the United States Department of Agriculture approving free meals for the entire school year, Beverly Schools said that each student is eligible for breakfast and lunch daily at no cost. Families are encouraged to take part in the program.
Lunches are available for all in-person students at the end of the day, along with a breakfast for the following day. Students in remote learning can pick up meals at Beverly High School from 7:15 to 7:45 p.m. or 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Those unable to make these times can designate a neighbor or family member to pick up the meets. Those who cannot do that are encouraged to contact Christina Leal at 978-921-6132 Ext. 11129 or [email protected].
Beverly Schools are also looking for community members willing to volunteer to deliver meals to those who cannot pick them up. Anyone willing to make deliveries is also asked to contact [email protected].
