DALE CITY, VA — A man who was accused of assaulting a woman in Dale City on Sunday is wanted by police. Jimmy Chucri Sawaya, a 27-year-old man from Dale City, is wanted on charges of assault, abduction, and destruction of property, according to a report from the Prince William County Police Department.
Police responded to a home in the 14000 block of Fallbrook Lane on Sunday evening to investigate a reported assault. When they arrived on the scene, officers spoke to the victim, a 22-year-old woman, who said that she was involved in an argument with an acquaintance that escalated.
The victim said that during the encounter, the acquaintance struck her multiple times. He then prevented her from leaving the home, according to the police report.
She was eventually able to escape from him and contacted authorities. The accused, who was later identified as Sawaya, had already fled the scene when police arrived.
The victim reported minor injuries from the assault.
After their investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for Sawaya. However, they have been unable to locate him. Sawaya is described as a Hispanic man who is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Sawaya is wanted on one count of abduction, one county of destruction of property, and two counts of assault and battery.
