School Day Added To HCPSS Academic Calendar

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Several changes have been made to the 2021-2022 school year academic calendar for the Howard County Public School System. Because HCPSS has used four of its five days already allocated in the calendar as inclement weather makeup days, the county board of education has approved Feb. 21 as a full school day instead of being off for Presidents Day. Schools and offices both will be open. On June 20, all HCPSS schools and offices will be closed in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. June 22 was added as an additional inclement weather day, if needed.
