This may be the role for you!The YMCA of the North Shore offers quality childcare for children ages 0-5 in Early Learning Centers throughout the North Shore region including in Beverly, Haverhill, Ipswich, Gloucester, Marblehead, Salem, and Plaistow, New Hampshire. We are seeking nurturing individuals to join our team and support the growing needs of the center as a part-time substitute based on program needs. This is a flexible position with a purpose! On a regular day, you will support the learning, development, and nurturing of a small group of infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children. Teachers spend time preparing children for the next stages of their development through play-based learning including reading, arts and crafts activities, movement and music exercises, regular and daily enrichments such as gymnastics, swimming, and sports. We work together as a team, to ensure a collaborative environment that prioritizes the children and accepts and nurtures all.You are creative, flexible, and understand the needs of children. You can respond quickly to a changing environment and are able to adapt quickly to a fast paced environment. You have a desire to nurture and bond with children and a passion to help them learn.
