Here are the top three stories in Des Moines today: According to new information released by The Iowa Department of Public Health, COVID-19 cases in the state and in Des Moines are down in the last seven days. The state's 14-day positivity rate decreased from 24% to 22.9%. In addition, the number of patients primarily hospitalized with a COVID-19 diagnosis dropped from 57% to 43%. (KCCI Des Moines) Police are looking for any information about a man who went missing on Jan. 25. Matthew Ryan O'Dell is a 46-year-old Des Moines resident who was last seen driving a gray 2016 Jeep Cherokee. Authorities say he has a pre-existing medical condition and currently may be without his medication. (Des Moines Register) After two siblings were arrested for the August shooting of a Des Moines man, police are now searching for a third. On Saturday night, Jasmin and Jonathan Bautista were arrested after a traffic stop in West Des Moines and charged with first-degree murder. Police are now searching for a third person who either may have information about the death of Javier Wilson-Moncada or was directly involved. The DMPD released a video of the suspect in order to get additional information from the public.
