Cranmore Mountain in North Conway was also praised for its ski and snowboard lessons with night skiing and snow tubing. Another favorite was family-friendly Pat's Peak in Henniker, and McIntyre Ski Area in Manchester also earned a top rating as a great place to brush up on skiing and snowboarding skills. Viewers in this round gave Black Mountain Ski Area in Jackson a top rating. Fans raved about the ski area's "New England charm." Rep. Chris True of Sandown was the only lawmaker supporting the bill. The House also heard a bill to increase fines by 20 percent for littering to help protect the environment and bring in additional revenue to Fish and Game so they can hire more conservation officers in the field to battle the growing problem of litter on New Hampshire trails. Rep. Dennis Thompson from Coos County said it would show the public that the state is "taking matters very seriously" and improve how people feel about the environment. Pease. The antique glass negatives were mass-produced stereoviews that were sold for pennies. The stereoview photos consisted of two photos with slightly different perspectives mounted side-by-side on cardstock that created a three-dimensional effect when viewed through a device called a "stereoscope." Crocker, who was storing the images for a friend, started posting a few of the prints over the past month on a Facebook page called "Forgotten New Hampshire." They're chef-created from natural botanicals, lightly effervescent and worthy of life beyond "Dry January." We mentioned that their Ginger-Orange was excellent; we've since tried Elderflower-Lime and loved it as well — light and floral with the perfect amount of zing. We're converts. Enough of you took Betera up on their 15 percent discount on first orders for Patch Daily readers that they've extended the offer for another week. Use PATCH15 at checkout.
