BELMONT, MA — The holiday season is wrapping up and that means there's plenty of cleaning to get done. Between taking down decorations and throwing away gift wrap, it's hard to keep a schedule of when to recycle what.
Patch has you covered with Belmont's holiday recycling schedule.
The town is hosting cardboard drop-off events from the end of December through January. Events will be held on Dec. 28 and Jan. 4 and 25.
Christmas tree recycling starts in January from the 6th to the 17th. Belmont warns residents to recycle their trees at the proper time or else they'll be forced to hold onto them and recycle them privately. The trees are composted and will be diverted from the Waste to Energy plant.
