BELMONT, MA — Belmont's Select Board is looking to fill vacancies on two of the towns committees. The Economic Development Committee and the Long Term Capital Planning Committee both need applicants. The Role of the Belmont Economic Development Committee (BEDC) is to developimplement, and update the recommendations in the Belmont Business Strategy, in conjunctionwith Town staff and departments. The Long Term Capital Planning Committee assists the Town Administrator in the preparation and an annual review of a long term capital improvement program. The Committee makes recommendations on long term capital expenditure requests from Town boards and departments. To apply to either position the application is on the Belmont town website.
