Press release from the City of Fargo: 01/30/2022 With heavy hearts and a deep sense of reverence, The City of Fargo is reflecting upon the life and legacy of North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem following the news of his passing. In his two decade career as Attorney General for the great state of North Dakota, Stenehjem embodied the principles of integrity and commitment, both of which public service is built upon. His dedication to the safety of each North Dakotan was admirable and unwavering. In honor of his life and decades of public service, The City of Fargo will bathe City Hall with red, white and blue lights and keep its flags at half-staff until further notice. The City and Team Fargo offer our most sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Attorney General Stenehjem. His professionalism and North Dakota pride will never be replaced.
