Trump has really lost what little mind he had. By announcing on Saturday that he would pardon the January 6 insurrectionists, he’s lending his support to people who wanted to overturn a full and fair election by taking Members of Congress hostage or worse, killing them, in order to retain power. Folks, that’s what happens in banana republics, not in true democracies. The Republican Party must denounce Trump and distance itself from the crazy man he is and was. It’s the only way to save the Republic.
