Description

I am looking to rehome our cat, Daphne. She is currently 2 years old and is a beautiful tortoiseshell girl. We got her when she was only a kitten and about 2 weeks old. A friend of mine found her outside with her sister; however they were abandoned by their mother and it seems as though the other kittens in her litter had passed away. My husband and I took Daphne in. She is a ferocious little cat. Very sassy, and very vocal, but she can also be very sweet. Daphne does not do well with other animals. She would need a home with an experienced, patient, and loving family. She still acts very feral and is not a friendly cat. She does not like to be touched and can scratch. She only lets my husband and I pick her up for short periods of time. I have hopes she would eventually warm up to new owners. My husband and I adopted two dogs, and they do not get along with Daphne. Daphne is very fearful of them and had not been able to defend herself against them. We fear for her happiness and overall well-being, now that dogs are in the house. For the past 3 months, we have had to keep them separated. It hurts my heart for her to be alone a majority of the day. We are unable to interact with her frequently anymore because the dogs are always around us. Willing to give her to someone for free, who has no dogs or small children, and LOTS of patience. She is a sweet cat, but will need someone experienced with feral cats because she can be violent. Thank you. If interested, we can give you toys, food, etc for her.
