Description
Persons willing to put in some time, that have creative instincts, able to improvise, write, sing, etc... a body of work is even better. Humor is important as well as mentally and physically having it together, i.e. being one with your instrument. Additionally, not look as if you're waiting for the bus with a stick up your ass and free of substance abuse problems. Preferred too, are those without the nicotine addiction, but if you've got it, be respectful to those that don't.
Not going on a world tour, though I wouldn’t turn it down. Let’s just see if we can do something small that might go over big and all get on together without having conflicts of style and genera performed. Great music comes in all kinds of packages, lets not have a shit-fit over how it's done.
Persons around 30, 50 give or take. Prefer people that are in the area, as part of being in the band is being there. I'm looking for decent players; lead guitarist, bassist, keys, and drummer. This is not a cash generating proposition, at least for the interim and odds are it's not going to amount to shit, but hey what else you got going.
Lastly, I have to add, all the abilities, gear, and the idyllic rehearsal situation don’t mean squat if you can’t write a tune. Much in the same as having the great tune but having no means or talent to deliver it. Point being nothing is perfect, but you’ve got to be reasonable and in some circumstance allow the benefit of doubt and not let perfection be the enemy of what's good.
