Job Summary: A Machine Operator is responsible to run multiple plate forming lines in a safe and efficient manner. This job requires keeping all equipment in centerline for optimal performance which includes changeover and set up responsibilities. Duties and Responsibilities: Ability to read, comprehend, and execute job orders per customer requirements. Perform all production recording requirements during and at the end of the shift. Perform quality checks per quality control standards Execute job change activities which includes changing of raw materials for the forming and packaging line equipment. Record and maintain centerline settings for all forming and packaging equipment. Maintain forming and packaging equipment at base condition. Maintain 6S standards. Comprehensive understanding of equipment adjustments and start up/shutdown procedures. Must be able to work in a team environment in conjunction with packaging operators. Ability to identify and repair minor defects on all forming and packaging equipment. Develop in-depth knowledge of operation and set-up of forming and packaging equipment. Completion of all rework activities. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Skills/Abilities: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma. Must be self-motivated and be detail oriented. Must be willing to work OT/Weekends/different shifts as needed. Must have knowledge of safe operation practices. Must possess a “can do” attitude and demonstrate great work ethic through work history. Physical Requirements: Must be able to properly lift in excess of 30lbs. Must be able to stand on feet for 8-12 hours a day.
