Description
Bass Player w/vocals available to join/form interesting project. I'm mainly interested in playing garage (simple rock with a good beat PLAYED WITH ATTITUDE to get people moving). I would also consider stoner metal or shoe-gaze. My goal is to play upbeat music that makes people pay attention to the band, move and drink.
I play a Gibson Thunderbird and a Fender PJ through an Ampeg SVT6 and a 410HLF, although I'm putting together a lightweight rig based on a recently acquired Peavey MinMAX head. I also have a PA, but currently no practice space.
I have a day job Monday through Friday. I'm free to practice two nights a week and during the day on Saturdays and Sundays. I'd like to limit my commute to practice to under 15 miles, but I have some flexibility on distance for the right situation.
I "dress for success" for gigs. To quote the immortal Lemmy Kilmister, "people don't want to go out and see somebody that looks like they're about to mow the lawn. They want to see somebody from outer space." Nothing outrageous, but not jeans and a t-shirt either.
Please, no new country, blues or "variety/wedding" bands. No disrespect, those projects definitely make money, but I'm not the guy.
Hit me up, EC rockers! Let's discuss over a beer or a cup of coffee.
