Description
We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation of various commercial and residential construction projects.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Prepare budget and cost estimates, along with work timetables
• Order materials and allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors (weekly visits to all sites)
• Collaborate with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and Management
• Obtain and Negotiate Contractor bids/proposals to receive best order costs
• Select subcontractors and delegate their responsibilities
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Ensure that all jobs are completed quickly, efficiently, and in the most cost effective manner
• Address and effectively handle any delays, emergencies and problems that can arise
• Comply with safety and building codes as well as legal requirements
• Report project progress and budget to Management
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in construction management
• Familiarity with construction management software
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Must know how to read construction plans
• Must have extensive construction cost knowledge
**Must be willing to commute to various construction sites**
