Sunday Afternoon Workshop - Easy Metal Etching In this beginning and very fun etching class, students will learn several uncomplicated ways to transfer a hand drawn or stamped image onto copper or brass. A chemical solution will be used to etch your design onto the surface of the metal. We’ll cover a variety of patinas to make your image stand out as well as appropriate sealants. Incorporate the pieces you create in class as pendants, earrings or a “stamping” for any project. This process is quite simple and easy to replicate. Level: Beginner 14+ Workshop Dates: Sunday / Feb. 6th Workshop Time: 11am-3pm Tuition: $55 Materials: $10 ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Feel free to bring rubber stamps you want to work with (a wide selection of stamps will be available for use in class) Please wear play clothes and closed toe shoes.
