Little Ponies is a very successful yet small home based preschool in operation since 2000. I'm located 5mins from I70 and 291. Not only will your child receive a top notch preschool education via Mother Goose curriculum and my passion for teaching, but I also put a foundation of love and a sense of belonging on them. They will also learn how to emotionally regulate their bodies via yoga and breathing techniques. I'm here to get my kids ready for the real world, life skills are very important but often so overlooked. I teach leadership and teamwork as well. I believe in emergent play theory which helps children pursue their own interests as well. It's the upbringing I wish I had as a child. :). I've been teaching for over 30yrs now, over 20 with Little Ponies and I this group is one of the best I've ever had. We're a team, I lead but I also learn every day as well. My kids are my second family and once a Pony always a Pony. I have graduates now in college that come back to visit. My program is outlined in detail in my contract. I follow a "Love and Logic" approach via Jim Faye. Your child will never be punished in my care, mistakes are just opportunities to learn. I have a time tested behavior modification program I've utilized since my college days. I've also specialized in teaching children with special needs. I have my degree in Social Work, but when my son was born, I was called to open my own preschool and that baby is now a grown man and I can't imagine doing anything else. My hours are 7-5:30, ages 2yrs and up, and a flat rate of $145 a week no other fees. I like families to have the most important info before you even make contact.
