***URGENT URGENT!!To be put down 2-1-2022 ****** Maggie needs a Foster to make it out alive! Maggie is only 1yrs old and has spent way too much in the shelter. Almost 6 months of her short life has been in the shelter! She did have a brief stay in a home in Dec but found herself back in the shelter once again! She does have an ear infection that will need to be looked at by a vet if she is lucky enough to land herself a foster. Rescue's take care of medical-you just foster this sweet girl. Her first trip to the shelter started when she was found with another dog on the streets. The finder stopped the car and Maggie jumped right in. Finder said she is shy but friendly. Sadly her 2nd trip back to the shelter was an owner surrender as Maggie reacted to getting tangled up in some blinds. Must have been scary to be all tied up and not be able to move. Maggie like any proper girl likes to take her time to get to know you. She can be sensitive to getting leashed to come out of her kennel but once out she settles into a great walking pace and has her tail wagging. Once in yard she was playful and enjoyed some pets and affection from handlers. Maggie hasn't had the opportunity to meet any dogs during her stay at the shelter so she will need to be safely kept separate until a slow and proper introduction can be done. **Maggie would thrive in a home with a patient and kind human that will allow her to overcome her shyness at her own pace.
