Description

Morristown area but willing to meet: Need to rehome our 2yo Husky Mix because we are moving soon, and won't be allowed pets. Please read post fully, to make sure you feel she'd be a good fit for your home. Her dad looked like a full, fluffy Husky. Not sure what she's mixed with, but we like to joke that we ordered our Husky off Wish. She's small, about 28 pounds, and hasn't gotten any bigger in a while. We have 3 older kids (ranging from 11-18) and she has no issue with that. What she does have issue is seems to be visitors. She gets pretty territorial and barks pretty constantly at anyone new. She loves to be outside and would thrive with a fenced in yard. She has been kept primarily inside, but loves to go out on the lead. The few times she's escaped, she's worried the neighborhood kids because she barks and chases them away from playing in front of the house. We have no idea how she would do with cats. She does fine with other dogs that wander into the yard as long as we aren't outside. If we are outside, she gets territorial. She does wonderfully with our 4yo female dog that is going to a family member. I think she'd be okay with younger children, aside from their toys, which she would assume are her's. My husband and I have opposite work schedules, so often some one is here with her. Because of that, she gets pesky when she's left alone. So if you plan to keep her inside, I think she would do best with a retiree or a family with someone home a decent amount of the time. She has the best personality, talks back like a Husky, and loves "nite nite bones" (treats). She also likes to bury things, another reason a fenced in yard and a fair amount of outside time would be great. Please text if you feel like she'd make a good addition to your home. Not asking a rehoming fee, just a loving family because she has been spoiled rotten and we'd hate to have to take her to a shelter. Thanks!
