ATTLEBORO, MA — Attleboro Mayor Paul Heroux announced a positive trend in the city's coronavirus battle when he said the city went a third straight day without a positive test as of Thursday.
Heroux said the overall number was reduced within the past few days because one positive case does not live in the city.
The city's total since count began in March remains at 666 positive cases, with 60 probable cases and 55 confirmed deaths.
Heroux also announced that the city disposed of a handful of bottles of hand sanitizer that might be dangerous because it includes toxic wood alcohol. The Federal Drug Administration sent out a list of 55 sanitizers — marketed under various brand names across the country — that were found to be unsafe.
