We are a food service business. We are looking for a Spanish chef consultant to help us develop an authentic Spanish menu. We want someone with experience and who is passionate about the food and culture of Spain. You will be collaborating with our inhouse chef to develop a plant based menu. No plant based experience needed, we are looking for traditional/classic Spanish chefs. The consultant chef is responsible for helping us create a unique menu that will make everyone fall in love with it. We will need feedback, guidance, and tips on how to cook the food and what ingredients to use. Collaboration starts at the beginning of February. The concept is a Spanish culinary experience at home with simple, historically inspired pub fare, small and medium plates. Responsibilities: Work our chef to design and develop a multi course menu Guidance on ingredients and recipes Instructions on how to cook the food the Spanish way and provide insight on the Spanish culture Help with tasting and adjusting recipes Uphold kitchen standards Qualifications: Deep expertise in Spanish cuisine and culture. Knowledge of tapas and other traditional Spanish dishes. Ability to support the Culinary Leadership to produce bases and menus Able to do in person tasting or cooking demonstrations.
