Hey all! I'm a Brooklyn-based multi instrumentalist, singer, and song-writer that is hoping to meet like-minded musicians with a similar music taste to jam, learn some covers, harmonize, collab on new songs, or whatever else. I played in some fledgling bands in my younger years (I'm 30 yo) but now really just interested in playing music as a hobby and creative outlet, hoping to meet people who are in the same boat for some low stakes music fun (but down to record and/or explore small level performing if the chemistry is there). Into a pretty wide range of music styles, including 60s-70s rock/soul/folk/R&B/funk music, modern indie rock (90s on), jazz, blues, Bossa Nova, old school country and bluegrass. I have pretty deep repertoire of songs I cover on guitar/vocals- these days some artists I've been playing a lot include Neil Young, Al Green, Van Morrison, Caetano Veloso, Elvis Costello, the Beatles, Flying Burrito Brothers, Whitney, White Denim, Built to Spill, Yo La Tengo, Pavement, Nirvana, Grateful Dead, Of Montreal, George Harrison, Guided By Voices, the Shins, Nick Drake, Tower of Power, CCR, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Talking Heads, Wilco, Velvet Underground, the Cure..... many many others lol, I tried to give a wide range of my tastes. I play guitar, bass, drums, and piano. Also love to write music but am a serial offender of not finishing lyrics, have well over 100 unfinished tunes I've written over the years, so would love to collaborate with a lyricist as well.
