Learn various centering solutions and throwing techniques on the wheel. We will start with pulling up a cylinder for a vase the first week, add a handle for a mug the second week and cover lids the third week. From there we will go on to throw bowls and pitchers, and glaze our finished pots. Explore the amazing world of wheel throwing. For beginner level students.
Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200.
Fee does not include materials. Clay will be three dollars a pound which covers glazing and firing costs.

About the instructor: Lee Cummings has had twenty years as a production potter, taught at Germantown Academy and Unity College, and had a one person show at the University Museum in Bangor, as well as sold her work through Littlefield Gallery and Greenhut Gallery.
