Join us to play music together to support & affirm our Boulder Strong Community! Registration Required. Each program limited to 20 people. We'd love to have you join us to play music together to support and nourish ourselves and community. The programs are free, but registration is required and limited to 20 participants for each program. We will be outdoors whenever possible. When weather requires us to be indoors, then we'll gather in the large main sanctuary with masks required and social distancing. We'll facilitate the programs with the Health Rhythms protocol, which is an evidence based group music making format that supports social connections, creative expression, musical empowerment, and personal and emotional wellness. The programs will include brief guided visualization, fun music making and activities with drums and percussion instruments, opportunities for movement, and more. No experience is necessary. Everybody is welcome and can participate. Drums and instruments provided. You're also welcome to bring light drums, percussion instruments, hand pans or hang drums, singing bowls, etc... We'll be offering a total of 8 programs and adding more dates soon. Registration/Cost - Free, but Registration Required because each program is limited to 20 participants. Please plan to attend if you register. And, please cancel promptly if you register but are unable to attend. You may also attend more than one program. Covid Safety- We will follow current health and safety guidelines. Please do not attend if you feel sick, have any Covid symptoms, have tested positive for Covid and not completed isolation, been in contact with somebody with Covid and not ended isolation, or awaiting a Covid test result. Also, if we're indoors, then masks are required. Programs are limited to 20 participants. And, chairs will be spaced for social distancing. And, we'll be in the large main sanctuary that has plenty of space. If outdoors, then no mask requirement and people will be invited to distance. We hope to be outdoors as much as possible. For nearly 20 years, Jonathan Crowder, JD, has been teaching and facilitating interactive group drumming and musical programs with hundreds of thousands of people and diverse organizations across the US for personal/spiritual growth, wellness, and group development.  He is a Remo Drum company Endorsed Facilitator, Trained Health Rhythms Facilitator and has worked with clients such as Twitter, Fidelity Investments, Vail Resorts, Univ of CO hospital, Univ of FL hospital, personal/spiritual growth and yoga retreats, addiction recovery groups, conferences, schools, community groups, and many more .  He's a muti-instrumetalist on guitar, hand drums, keyboards, native flute, leads group singing, and has trained at Vanderbilt Univ's Blair School of Music as well as with music therapists and indigenous healers.
