This gala is all about alleviating food insecurity in our communities. Helping alleviate hunger has a significant impact in making our communities better places to live and work. Hunger is often a hidden problem. One in six individuals in the United States is food insecure – meaning they have to choose between paying a bill, paying for needed medication or wondering where their next meal will come from. This is true right here in Northern DuPage County. Be a part of this important effort to help our neighbors and strengthen our communities. Your help is needed to care for hungry neighbors in Roselle, Medinah, and Bloomingdale. We depend on generous donations and the financial support of local businesses and people like you. The first annual fund-raising gala, “Give Where You Live” in support of the Roselle Community Food Pantry will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Medinah Shriner’s Banquet Hall in Addison, IL. There will be cocktails and dinner, a silent and live auction, and remarks from a distinguished guest speaker: Julie Yurko, President and CEO of the Northern Illinois Food Bank. Ways to Help!
