Come celebrate International Women Days with the Italian American Women of Iowa! La Festa della Donna Day, also known as International Women's Day, is celebrated in March annually in the United States and in Italy. IAWI will be celebrating this day for all Italian American ladies and for our future generations with a luncheon to honor our Italian American heritage with 3 generations of speakers, a collection viewing of work by artist Amy Worthen and awarding scholarships to our 1st annual submissions. It is traditional that women wear yellow for this day and it is highly encouraged for this event. Along with tones of yellow IAWI will be serving traditional dishes for this day including lemon ricotta Tagliatelle and mimosa cake! Join our group on Facebook for updated info!
