Social Kits Looking For New Friends

Description

Available for adoption is an exceptionally sweet assortment of rabbit kits. These nine bunnies are some of the friendliest you'll have the pleasure of meeting. They have been handled since birth and are very well socialized. There are several adorable colors to choose from…REW (red eyed white), Sable, Lilac, Lynx, Red, Seal. Their story is an interesting one: Early this year several domestic rabbits were turned loose to fend for themselves. A dear friend of ours discovered them and began live-trapping them to adopt out to good homes. This group was kindled by one of the rescued does. They are three weeks old and will be ready to be adopted to their new homes once weaned. All nine are robust and have bright, cheerful personalities. They are very happy rabbits! They love people and exploring, and are immaculately tidy. Easy to catch and hold, their best quality is that they are not biters. They love cardboard, alfalfa, and frolicking in the yard. Though they live outdoors, each of these little guys love coming into the house for "couch time" to watch tv with us, and especially like our German Shepherd's dog cot. Any of them would make fantastic candidates for an indoor companion, and I believe would be very easy to train to a litter box. For those who love gardening, a pet rabbit or two make excellent vegetable recyclers and produce some of nature’s finest organic, small round, pelleted form of fertilizer! “Bunny honey” (manure) is approximately 2 percent nitrogen, 1 percent phosphorus and 1 percent potassium. Use it fresh, straight from under the hutch or litter pan! It does not burn plants. Use the pellets to topdress your lawn, mulch roses, vegetables, flower beds and ornamental plantings, or supercharge your compost pile and create an earthworm heaven. Rabbit manure has four times more nutrients than cow or horse manure and is twice as rich as chicken manure. We would love to adopt these kits to forever homes where they can have couch time, cuddles, and eat carrots and banana peels to their heart's content (all the while blessing your blossoming gardens!). There is a modest adoption fee.
