From Your Arlington: Last Updated: 11 November 2020 Written by Lisa Cohen Arlington Community Education (ACE) is holding a special online highlight event, "Art in the Open: Appreciating Public Art," set for Thursday, Nov. 12, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Led by local sculptor Paul Angiolillo, it will include a discussion about public art in Arlington with Adria Arch, one of the founders of Arlington Commission for Arts and Culture. This event is co-sponsored by Arlington Commission for Arts and Culture. The cost is $25. Register for this or any ACE class at www.ArlingtonCommunityEd.org. Look at and talk about all kinds of art in public spaces: environmental or "land" art, social, political, commemorative, art for art's sake, and more.
