Parents will hear from Minuteman's Assistant Principal for Admissions Anthony Chiariello and several members of the Minuteman Parent Association, who will speak about their students' experiences and answer questions from parents of prospective students. Students are choosing Minuteman in significantly higher numbers, which earlier this year resulted in a waiting list from the district's member towns. Because of Covid-19 health and safety protocols, Minuteman is operating under a hybrid-learning model for the current school year, meaning one grade of students is in the building each week to engage in hands-on CTE learning in one of its 18 career majors, including biotechnology, automotive, engineering, cosmetology and many others. Member towns Families of students entering ninth grade next fall who live in one of Minuteman's member towns are encouraged to attend a virtual or in-person event this fall. Minuteman's member towns are Acton, Arlington, Bolton, Dover, Concord, Lancaster, Lexington, Stow and Needham. Students residing in nonmember towns are welcome but must later seek approval for enrollment from their hometown school district. Minuteman is an award-winning regional career and technical high school and continuing education institution that integrates robust academic and technical learning. As an accredited member of the New England Association of Schools & Colleges, Minuteman challenges all students to aspire to their full potential, accelerate their learning and achieve success in the 21st-century global community.
