The Neighborhood Services Department encourages area nonprofits and social service agencies to apply for HUD grant funds to benefit eligible Fort Worth households.
Up to $3.5 million could be available for children and youth training and mentoring programs, career and job readiness programs, architectural barrier removal and other services that improve accessibility of public and private spaces, preserve aging housing stock and support aging in place.
Nonprofits and social service providers currently in operation and providing services in the community will be considered. All applicants must attend one of three pre-proposal conferences to apply:
Monday, Feb. 7, 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, 10 a.m. All sessions will be held at the Neighborhood Services Department, 908 Monroe St., in the third-floor conference room.
Proposals must be submitted Feb. 1 to March 15 through the Neighborly Software website.
