Press release from Kendall County Sheriff's Office: 01/30/2022 4:00 AM 01/29/22 2022-0310, Driving while License Suspended: On 012922 at 6:40am, Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop at 1190 Route 34 in Oswego Township for speeding. Jashia Jackson, a 21-year-old female from the 1000 block of Reading Dr, Montgomery was cited for speeding 73 mph in a 45 mph zone, driving while license suspended, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Jackson was released on her own recognizance. 2022-0310, Driving while License Suspended: 2022-0312, Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding: On 012922 at 8:30am, Sheriff's Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding in the area of RT30 and Fifth St, Oswego. The vehicle fled, Deputies terminated the pursuit, and the vehicle was located in a nearby parking lot after it crashed into a tree. The suspect fled on foot, there were no known injuries, and the incident is under investigation. 2022-0313, Theft: On 012922 at 9:52am, Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 2400 Block of Light Road, Oswego Township, for a report of a theft. The incident is under investigation. 2022-0314, Battery: On 012922 at 2:11 pm, Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 2000 block of Light Rd in Oswego Township for a report of a battery. The investigation is ongoing. 2022-0316 / 2022-0317, In-State Warrant Obstructing / Resisting Peace Officer: On 01/29/2022 at 8:48 p.m., deputies conducted a Warrant execution in the 300 block of Springbrook Trl S. in Oswego. Contact was made with Shawnna Wade, a 29-year-old female from the 300 block of Springbrook Trail S. in Oswego, who was wanted on a Kendall County failure to appear warrant for DUI. Bond on the warrant was set at $5,000 x 10%. Wade was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing for her outstanding warrant and obstructing / resisting a Peace Officer which occurred during the arrest of Wade. 2022-0319, Domestic Battery: On 01/29/22 at 9:40 p.m., deputies responded to the 9000 block of Schlapp Road in Na-Au-Say Township for a report of a Domestic Battery. The investigation is ongoing. The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
